A&M Renewables Limited (A&M) was set up by Andy Evason and Francis Akpata, the company's directors.

 

Andy has a degree and PhD in engineering and an MBA. He has experience in a number of technical disciplines and of managing staff/finance, delivering projects and growing a successful business. He has long been passionate about the renewable energy, climate change and biodiversity and set up A&M Renewables with Francis to work on projects that can make a difference in these areas.

 

Francis has worked in oil and gas in the UK and internationally for over 15 years, in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of oil and gas before focusing on renewables. He was a principal at Industry Capital LLC USA where he focused on using innovative technologies to build modular refineries and gas plants to optimise energy for all stakeholders . In recent years he has looked for opportunities in the circular economy and investigated in a number of potential technologies, while developing relationships with university researchers and small businesses working in this area.

Andy and Francis work with a number of advisors and consultants. These include:​

• Mabbett & Associates Limited: Environmental consultancy supporting us with planning and permits. ​

• ENRg Consultants, a specialist independent consultancy advising us on Risk assessment, Process Safety and Fire Hazard Management.​

• QMRE: Distributor for the pyrolysis technology and providing advice and support on overall system design and implementation.
